By accessing or using the Sofra platform or any of its applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users of the Sofra platform, including home chefs, customers, partner businesses, and any third-party integrators.

2. Description of Services

Sofra is a home chef marketplace that provides:

• Sofra Platform: a mobile and web marketplace where home chefs can list their dishes, set prices, and sell directly to customers in their local community.
• Sofra Chef Tools: a suite of tools for home chefs to manage their menu, accept orders, communicate with customers, and track earnings — all from one dashboard.
• Sofra Discovery: a local food discovery experience for customers to find, browse, and order authentic homemade meals from verified home chefs nearby.

Sofra reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time with reasonable prior notice.

3. User Account

To access Sofra's services, you must create an account using accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

By using Sofra, you agree not to:

• Use the services for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload Sofra's systems or infrastructure
• Share your account access with unauthorized third parties
• Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of the services without written authorization
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code into the platform
• Scrape or extract data from the platform in an automated manner without prior written consent

5. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Sofra platform — including software, interfaces, logos, trademarks, and documentation — are the exclusive property of Sofra and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Access to Sofra grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution of platform elements is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sofra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the services.

Sofra's total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you for the services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting our team. Sofra may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a material breach of these terms without prior notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request earlier deletion.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Sofra operates. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
