- Location data (optional): only if you grant permission, used to show nearby chefs or enable local discovery features.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide and improve the Sofra platform and its AI features.
- Send you expiration alerts, consumption suggestions, and weekly waste reports.
- Personalize your experience based on your food habits and supply patterns.
- Respond to your support requests and communicate service updates.
- Analyze aggregate, anonymized trends to improve our AI prediction models.
We do not use your personal data for advertising purposes and we do not build advertising profiles based on your food behavior.

- Service providers: trusted third-party vendors who help us operate Sofra (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support), bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

All third-party processors are required to handle your data with the same level of protection as Sofra.
